
Endless Snake is the arcade snake you remember, and the one you've never seen. Same four-direction grid. Same hungry apple. But every run, every mode, every restart pushes the formula another inch.
Eat apples to grow. Boost through gaps to escape. Chain eats inside two seconds and watch the combo multiplier climb to ×3, with the apple-eat sound pitching up one semitone every link. Thread a gap one tile wide and earn a ×3 risk bonus on top. The score system rewards the things real snake players already do. The leaderboards prove they were doing them right.
FIVE MODES, ONE SNAKE.
Classic: Three difficulties. Three board sizes. Top your high score. The snake game your grandmother knew, balanced for 2026.
Roguelite: Pick one of three upgrades every round. 30 to choose from across Offense, Defense, and Skill. Tier-5 stack bonuses fire at 5 / 10 / 15 picks per category. Ten unique bosses appear every 10th round — each with its own AI. Phase lets you teleport through a wall once per round. Magnetic Gaze pulls fruit toward you. Momentum turns straight-line movement into a speed buff. Stack them, break them, lose to them.
Time Attack: Most apples in 60 seconds. Combo windows reset on every miss. Pure execution.
Boss Rush: All ten bosses, back-to-back, five Phase charges. Survive.
Daily: One seed. Every player. Every modifier table reshuffles at UTC midnight. Yesterday's run lives on the leaderboard for a week.
FIFTEEN APPLE EFFECTS: Gold (+50). Magnet (apples drift to you). Slow (5 s of breathing room). Ghost (walls become passable). Multi, Time, Shrink, Length-Cap, Bonus-Bug, Bomb, Mystery — every variant changes how a round plays.
TEN THEMES. FIFTEEN SKINS. Default cream-and-navy. Forest. Desert. Ocean. Sunset. Neon. Arcade. Nordic. Paper. Midnight. Pick the world you want to play in. Unlock the rest by playing.
ONE HUNDRED ACHIEVEMENTS. Onboarding, Endurance, Skill, Discovery, Boss, Mode, and Score categories, distributed exactly to feel rewarding without feeling cheap. Twelve skins and nine themes are tied to specific achievements. The rest are bragging rights.
REPLAY EVERY RUN: Each leaderboard entry stores a delta-encoded replay. Copy the share code (MODE-DATE-SEED-CHECKSUM) and a friend can re-run your exact game. Frame-perfect, deterministic, no internet required.
BUILT FOR ONE HAND: Arrow keys or D-pad. Right trigger or A button to boost. That's the entire input surface. The game runs locally, saves locally, and never asks for an account.
